This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests. As a member of the Cloud Camp Team, the Supervisor will help direct activities of Concierge staff, Rangers, Mule Skinners, Housekeeping Cabin Attendants and Dinner Servers. This person will work closely with General Manager, Cloud Camp Chef, and other supervisors to ensure a high-quality guest experience. Help develop and lead a team of service-oriented employees and work closely with General Manager to accomplish training. Lead, direct, train and coach the Rangers, Housekeeping Cabin Attendant, Concierge, Mule Skinner and Dinner Server teams to provide a high-quality guest experience. Help with guest check in and check outs including all related paperwork and confirm activities with guests for the next day. Scheduling of staff, transportation schedule and time and attendance as directed by the General Manager. Confirm on a nightly basis guest counts for 4:00 p.m. daily room turndown, dinner service and following day breakfast and lunch. Runs all necessary occupancy, arrival and departure reports and distribute to the General Manager and culinary team. Check reservations with the Concierge for special events and celebrations and verify with the Concierge and Culinary staff any special dietary and food restrictions. Work closely with the Concierge team to perform daily guest call outs. Responsible for Food and Beverage service and maintaining standards for all meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Social Hour, Dinner and Overlook functions. Responsible for events at the Overlook for start to finish. Banquet/Meeting room set up, service of food & beverage, AV equipment, clean up, etc. Ensure that all special guests, VIPs, Press etc. are all communicated to the team and proper advance preparations are made. Assist the General Manager in the training of all new front of the house staff. Ensure that all guest activities for Cloud Camp are delivered in a high-quality manner and create a great guest experience. Ensure all guest request items are delivered in a timely manner. Respond immediately to guest complaints and concerns and work quickly to resolve issues. Work closely with Loss Prevention and the Parking Garage to coordinate transportation of guests and employees. Work closely with Loss Prevention and General Manager on any guest injuries and illnesses. Follow all the Broadmoor service standards, policies and procedures and enforce them with all employees. Ensure station, dining room set up and side work is completed prior to staff leaving and ensure that service staff is completing opening and closing checklists. Must be able to drive golf carts and company vehicles to transport guests and items up to the property. Responsible for daily communication to staff of VIPs, Special Events/Requests. Gets daily counts from General Manager of Camp; count for planning of employee meals and works. Knowledge of the Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain Lodge, Colorado History, etc. in order to provide Guided Hiking, Archery, Crafts, Pickle Ball, Mule Rides, Yoga instruction. Knowledgeable of various beers, wine and spirits and is able to perform basic bartending and to provide beverage service to guests. Know, communicate and train to Forbes and AAA Dining and service standards. Assist General Manager with end of season performance review for front of house staff.
