Team Management:

  • Direct and support the operations team, offering mentorship and assistance.
  • Organize and oversee the rollout of applications, systems, and updates.
  • Effectively communicate deployment strategies, progress, and challenges to relevant stakeholders.

Operational Excellence:

  • Formulate and execute strategies for the efficient deployment and operation of systems.

  • Possess hands-on expertise in software development, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the software lifecycle.
  • Manage release pipelines proficiently, ensuring seamless software delivery.

Compliance and Security:

  • Guarantee adherence to industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline from an accredited institution. Familiarity with asset management and experience working with governmental entities is advantageous.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT operations, particularly in SaaS environments.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience managing enterprise applications to meet SLAs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and monitoring solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications to meet SLAs.
  • Knowledge of managing and maintaining SOC1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 certifications.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle or MS SQL Server).
  • Capability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations with limited information.
  • Willingness to travel: Less than 10%.
  • Availability for after-hours work: Some required.
  • Soft skills including attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, and resilience.
