Who We're Looking For The Director of Media Marketing for Social and Creator in North America is at the forefront of shaping and leading Nike's holistic Social and Creator Strategy. They bring an obsession for innovation and for moving the Media industry forward as they lead partnerships with some of our key platforms including Meta, Snap, Pinterest, Reddit and TikTok. This role requires a deep understand of Paid Social Strategy as well as expertise in navigating the creator, influencer and affiliate landscape to drive outcomes across brand, commerce, acquisition and store objectives. They partner closely with teammates to create holistic plans, and they are able to work across marketing functions to bring their objectives to life. They champion technological advancements and work closely with our geo technology leads as well as their global counterparts to bring that technology to life. They have strong expertise in measurement and are able to advance how we assess the value and impact of our Social channel activations. They're comfortable collaborating with multiple strategic and marketing partners; and they're passionate about fostering a team culture that prioritizes respect and inclusivity. What You'll Work On

Lead and manage a team of 3 direct reports plus a large agency team, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and opportunities for career growth Cultivate and manage digital and creator agency team to optimize performance and drive results Forge and manage strategic social partnerships to amplify Nike's presence and impact Develop and implement forecasting models to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) Strategize and roadmap social initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business goals Design and implement robust test-and-learn roadmaps to drive innovation and continuous improvement Craft and implement a comprehensive creator strategy to engage and inspire Nike's audiences Educate internal teams on paid social, creator, and influencer affiliate strategies to foster alignment and understanding across the organization Collaborate closely with internal creative teams to ensure the development of platform-right assets Stay abreast of the latest social news and trends, integrating emerging opportunities into Nike's strategy Collaborate with global and other regional teams to share insights, best practices, and findings to drive collective success

Who You'll Work With You'll closely partner with the Brand Leads, Creative Leads, Global counterparts and in-geo digital squads. This role reports to the Sr Director of NA Media and will work with members of our organization of all levels. You will lead a team of social and creator experts narrative experts and writers and will collaborate with designers, strategists, planners, producers and operations experts. You will partner regularly with other Global Brand Creative Studios, Global Brand Marketing and Global Consumer Direct Marketing. You will also be connected to Geo and City creative studios. What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; MBA preferred 10+ years of experience in media marketing with a focus on social and creator strategy A passion for sport, style and culture Proven track records of driving impactful outcomes through paid social activations and creator partnerships Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing highly impactful teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends and best-in-class practices Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt and thrive in ambiguity Passion for sports, culture and innovation, with a genuine commitment to Nike's mission and values Sense of humor, positivity and entrepreneurial spirit Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Enthusiasm to partner with all types of creative talent, including Design Directors and Art Directors Dedication to fostering a team culture of collaboration, respect and inclusivity Commitment to personal growth
