Position Summary The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing detailed financial models, forecasting, and analysis to support Global MPS sites, including those in North America, the UK, and China. The role demands a highly analytical approach, intermediate Excel knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills. The Financial Analyst must work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties/Responsibilities Perform variance and prime margin analysis Provide financial models and forecasting Conduct quarterly industry analysis Prepare finance-related analysis and research in areas such as financial and cost-saving performance measures Participate in the annual budget process and cost-saving activities in conjunction with each department head Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management Support the creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings Evaluate and analyze ROI, KPIs, and financial statements Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes Assist with financial and tax audits Provide support to the Accounting team including: Fixed Asset management Capital Expenditure reporting Accounts Payable as needed Contribute financial information to strategic plans and reviews to meet accounting operational standards. Resolve accounting issues and identify areas for system improvement. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying informed on existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to these requirements, and advising management on necessary actions. Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations to address procedure-related questions. Maintain financial security by strictly adhering to internal controls. Protect the organization’s value by safeguarding confidential information. Experience Required BS degree in Finance or equivalent Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in an analytical role Intermediate Excel knowledge Experience building Excel models Detail-oriented with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience Understanding of standard cost accounting, including Bill of Materials (BOM) and routings Project management experience a plus Experience with Epicor Avante a plus Work Environment This position is an on-site role, with 1 flex day per week of remote work.
