The purpose of this position is to ensure maximum reimbursement and reduce denials related to incomplete insurance information and/or authorization. The Patient Services Coordinator maintains statistics and acts as liaison between clinical testing sites and physicians' offices.Education Required: High School DiplomaTwo of the four are required:-Two years of experience in a healthcare environment.-Completion of healthcare related certificate program.-Associate's Level Degree or higher.-Transferable skills (i.e., One year or more in a call center, customer service, etc.)Experience Preferred: Healthcare EnvironmentSkills Required:Technology/Computer, Customer Service Orientation, Microsoft OfficeKeywords: #INDEED, Customer Service, insurance verification, insurance authorization, Talroo-Allied Health, administrative, secretarial, call center, customer service, statistics, non-clinical, monsterJob SummaryCoordinates activities for specific physician practices, including insurance verification/obtaining precertification, scheduling, pre-registration, and order transmission (faxing).
