Content Marketing Specialist
to add to their team. This role can be remote (EST Hours) and could potentially be a temp-to-hire opportunity. The slary range for this role (once hired on) is $66-82K / yr + amazing benefits
We’re looking for a creative and results-driven Content Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will support the development and lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads and boost sales for their early childhood professional development products and services, including training, membership, annual conference, virtual events, and products. You will be responsible for creating compelling content for print, email, digital advertisements, website and social media, as well as managing the tools for posting, and reporting performance of promotional efforts. The ideal candidate has a mind that is equal parts creative and analytical and thrives when working with cross-functional stakeholders to build campaigns and programs that drive business results. Experience in early education, nonprofits, agencies, or associations a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Supportomni-channel content creation which includes technical and creative writing and design using templates for email, web, print, and digital ads
Support marketing and communications activities for the organization’sproducts, services, trainings, membership and events
Create and execute dynamic, data-driven, segmented email campaigns including drip marketing campaigns, membership retention/reactivation campaigns, event recruitment campaigns, lifecycle emails, and engaging welcome series
Plan and implement website content marketing strategy, including creation of product landing pages, lead generation forms and other conversion opportunities such as pop-ups, banner ads, homepage features, etc
Make daily content updates and website maintenance and performance, with a focus on optimizing SEO/SEM and user experience
Develop paid digital advertising and retargeting campaigns, including the creation of ads creative and copy, audience groups, and customized landing pages
Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and communications team to coordinate design and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across all social platforms
Serve as primary point of contact for related vendors and agencies as needed
Proactively stay abreast oftrends to inform future growth strategies and opportunities
Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the department
Be able to travel 2-3 times per year for events, retreats and in-person meetings
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a proven track record managing engaging and effective integrated marketing campaigns with measurable results
Experience with marketing automation, email marketing, a robust CRM or marketing automation software such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Marketing Cloud
Content creation and publications experience (digital, video and/or print)
Proficiency with Google marketing products including AdWords, Analytics and Search Console.
Strong project management skills: attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, time management skills and consistent follow-through
Experience collaborating across teams
Self-directing and agile, with the ability to quickly pivot strategies, as needed
Team player with superb communication and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, advertising or related field
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32-40 / hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
