Associate Director of Content Marketing

Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business seeks a highly skilled Associate Director of Content Marketing to join its Office of Marketing and Communications. This key role will support strategic content planning and execution across various platforms to elevate the school's digital footprint and brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with marketing objectives and the school's goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, consistent content production, including blog posts, video storyboards, infographics, website content, and paid campaign-related social media content.
  • Work with external marketing agencies to develop advertising content for external media, social media ads, and other paid platforms.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize content effectiveness and ROI.
  • Elicit audience and stakeholder feedback to increase engagement and refine the content strategy.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital technologies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in content marketing, with a strong background in creating and managing digital and paid media content.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in following editorial style guidelines.
  • Deep understanding of content metrics and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics, with a demonstrated understanding of graphic design concepts.

Work Mode Designation: This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed to meet the evolving needs of the University.

Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $47-$87, determined by a number of factors, including the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
