The Facilities Coordinator will report to the Operations Director and will support the entire Building Operations team as s/he carries out assigned tasks with significant autonomy. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Manages, inventories, and replenishes assigned resources pertinent to house operations and guest accommodations.General working knowledge of building systems, repair methods, and work scope to complete repairs or properly manage vendor work. Includes painting, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, carpentry, landscaping and landscape maintenance, replacing light bulbs and air filters, etc.Assists with Building Operations tasks, partnering with team members delivering on all aspects of facilities management, including coordinating maintenance activities, and managing repairs in a timely fashionServes as primary liaison with housekeeping teams on assigned days.Ensures facilities are safe and meets brand standards.Communicate across departments as need.Receives and responds to internal and external emails and requests in timely manner.Provides logistics support to various RMHC teams across Oregon per assigned tasks.Provides coverage for Building Operations team PTO, sick leave, or other needs - this includes participating in the on-call rotation.Contributes positively to the Building Operations team culture, operations systems development, and other improvements.Contributes to RMHC organization-wide events and projects, as able.Cell Phone use will be required for this role during business hours and on-call.This role will be required to handle HR related information responsibly Other Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the Building Operations Team in a positive and flexible manner, including moving between Portland locations based on project needs.Attends all-staff and various department meetings, as needed.Becomes the on-site point of contact for all key vendors.Trains and supervises volunteer teams.Other duties as assigned. RequirementsYou enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse and talented group of people.You love to jump in to help out and are eager to problem solve. You thrive on variety and enjoy learning and understanding how things work. You are organized, like to plan, and get excited about building and improving systems.You are flexible and willing to put your skills to use where they are needed. Ability to follow and improve preexisting inventory systems. Experience using manual and power tools to perform work. Have an eye for detail and an intrinsic desire to see things done well. You are able to handle varied responsibilities daily and work effectively in a diverse, team-based environment. You understand and support RMHC's mission and values. Must possess a valid driver's license. Proficient with office-oriented computer programs, including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and Teams.You agree to comply with all health standards and precautions, as requested by RMHC.Work Environment: Most work is conducted in a guest house environment, with a mix of guest housing, office, and back-of-house areas. Work at events may be indoors or outdoors, possibly in hot or wet weather. In conjunction with certain events, employees may be required to lift packages (up to 40 pounds) and stand for long periods.
