We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative in the South Central Region office based in Carrollton, TX and supporting the region across North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

This position is an Office-Based position in the Carrollton, TX.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be a highly motivated self-starter who operates as the lead point of contact, creating and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers. The BDR role will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities while utilizing a digital presence.

Responsibilities Include

Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers, connecting and influencing key business stakeholders at all levels of an organization Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our client-focused solutions according to customer needs and objectives Solid problem solving and strong business decision making confidence with sense of urgency Proven negotiating skills with solid financial acumen to maximize profits Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) preparing sales reports Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders Develop business plan with business leaders to identify areas of growth and improvement Proven ability manage multiple account projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. Movement to meet sales quotas Maintains prospect and customer database in CRM with sales notes, adherent to company procedures Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (e.g. Customer Service, Warranty, Watsco Ventures and equipment and parts Regional Sales Managers) Experience with Salesforce preferred, but not required Strength in digital and multi-media (e.g CRM, E-Commerce, Apps, Solutions Interface, Online Training Presentation and Communication)

Requirements

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred, but not required. The qualified candidate must be a high-energy, self-starter with a strong work ethic. This individual will need to be motivated by a competitive industry and be results, detail and team oriented. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must possess excellent organizational skills. Experience with the HVAC, Refrigeration or similar industries such as commercial, industrial or residential products and services (e.g plumbing, auto parts, electrical, HVAC or similar). Strong written and verbal communication skills Please note that no relocation is offered for this position.
