The PS&R Specialist performs day-to-day activities such as work verification of standards, proper documentation, tag preparation, and receipt, including delivering regular metrics reporting through SAP and other department systems. The Public Safety and Regulatory Department follows all company and regulatory safety requirements, standards, and best practices while promoting a safety culture throughout its team. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company, in good faith, believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $38.94 to $61.05. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Responsibilities: Maintains pre-established filing system of the overhead, underground inspection, and patrol records and completed electric preventative corrective maintenance (EPCM) tags. Reviews and signs electric corrective (EC) tags. Keeps accurate and up-to-date records of the overhead, underground inspection, and patrol schedule, detailing books for each district. Keeps a working file of all tags to be estimated and assists in getting short-term engineering tags to the RMC. Maintains current knowledge of General Order 165 from the department manual and applies the order to day-to-day work activities. Followed procedures and outlined orders in the Electric Distribution Preventative Maintenance Manual (EDPM) for day-to-day workload. Identifies and manages all orders in the SAP system associated with all BF & BG work compliance. Prepares packages for overhead, underground inspection, and patrol. Prints out the correct log in SAP, prepares tags due reports for that map, and folds and stamps the correct map for inspector use. Logs annual inspection maps and forecasts work for the district for the next two years. Ensures appropriate documentation of EC tags. Enters correct fields and work type codes. Participates in the annual funding allocation process for units and dollars with program managers working on various maintenance and construction programs. Manages and tracks costs, looking at trends and unit expenses throughout the year. Performs regular and ad hoc reporting on tag activity, annual GO 165 report, etc. Regularly queries the database to ensure the accuracy of tag records. Trains and leads department clerical group and assists in other regular training. Qualifications Minimum: High School or GED. Three years of related business experience. Experience working with the SAP Work Management and Financial Program. Desired: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or equivalent. one year of experience in a compliance-related field. Consultative experience. Background in Finance. A thorough understanding of GO 165 and other manual knowledge is required for this position. Thorough understanding of current electric maintenance and construction programs. Strong analytical skills. Working knowledge of overhead and underground construction standards.
