Summary

  • Position is responsible for performing appointment scheduling and patient registration for a high-volume virtual urgent care practice. This position will be responsible for calling patients prior to appointments, ensuring they have Zoom downloaded, helping patients complete pre-registration, assisting patients with technical issues, among other duties. Additionally, the position will work with the practice manager to adjust the Epic schedule according to need/operational needs on a day-to-day basis. Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to multitask in a quickly changing environment, and have some scheduling/customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.

    This is a hybrid role, and the candidate must be able to attend training onsite in Westbrook, Maine for a couple of weeks of training, but will then be mostly remote. The schedule will be Mon-Fri 8-4:30pm.

  • Position Summary
    • Position is responsible for performing appointment scheduling for a high-volume multi-physician specialty care practice, including coordination of surgeries, and/or surgical procedures at multiple locations.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
    • License/Certifications: N/A

    • Knowledge and skills of using office equipment.
    • Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks and have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong computer skills.
    • The ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
