Job Description: We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to day-to-day operations of human resources and benefits administration. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide assistance in hiring process activities such as posting jobs, maintaining applicant tracking, and arranging interviews. Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy files, tracking deadlines, and taking notes as needed. Assist in sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files. Maintain, control and secure confidential and sensitive information. Gather data and statistical reports, and maintain statistical information. Administer and monitor new hire orientation. Maintain and monitor records of employee benefits and salary. Maintain employee file records up to date by handling changes in employee status in timely manner. Answers and directs incoming calls for the VP of Human Resources; sets appointments as necessary per availability. Provides limited assistance for routine inquiries. Follows company Quality and Environmental Management policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as required. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity. Good understanding of all aspects of human resource administration including a general understanding of the laws governing HR and benefits administration. Must be able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets. Time management and organization skills required. Considerable judgement required to meet the requirements of new or unusual situations. Analytical and problem-solving skills required. Experience working with an ERP system a plus. Strong Communication Skills; both written and verbal. Accuracy and attention to detail. Must be authorized to work in the US.
