Position Summary:

Provide a wide variety of both complex and routine human resources services including, but not limited to, applying, interpreting, and assisting with policies, procedures, programs, HRIS, employee relations, benefits, employment regulations, and general administrative functions. Assist the HR Benefits and Corporate HR Team with HR data reporting, compliance, and benefits administration.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Benefits Manager with administration of health and welfare plans including, Garnishments and Retirement Plans.
  • Assist the HR Data Manager with HR data reporting, research, and analysis.
  • Under the direction and in conjunction with the HR and Benefits Team assist in coordination of the Worker’s Compensation program, including claims management and reporting.
  • Drive process improvement by continuously looking for opportunities to operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Cross-train in all day-to-day HR functions and provides support and assistance to all Benefits and Corporate HR Team.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.


Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Data analytics and data metrics experience is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment Excel proficiency required.
  • General working knowledge of employment laws, including but not limited to Federal and State regulations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and recommend effective corrective action and creative solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the administration of benefits, workers compensation, and other Human Resources programs preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally and communicate with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to organize, plan, allocate resources and prioritize to meet multiple overlapping and competing deadlines and strict timelines.



Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of up to $65,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
