Facilities Coordinator

Overview:

Coordinates facility activities across multiple sites, which may include general repairs and maintenance, construction, relocation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security and alarm systems, telecommunications systems, utilities, painting, patching, pest control, janitorial, signage, furniture and equipment setups, and cubicle reconfiguration. Handles building equipment emergencies and communicates as the focal point between company team members and outside contractors called in to fix problems. Manages building and equipment maintenance schedules, runs tests on building security systems, and participates in the creation of action plans in preparation for emergencies. Organizes, schedules, and documents work activities; reviews activity progress; and assures completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with corporate and local Operations Managers, identifies facility needs, and obtains necessary details to develop proper solutions and identify vendors for implementation.
  • Obtains proposals and quotes from vendors, negotiates for best value, and works with Procurement and Accounts Payable to issue purchase orders and payments.
  • Identifies cost-effective solutions in all activities, while maintaining quality and timeliness.
  • Participates in and supports planning, construction, start-up, remodeling, relocation, and closure of facilities.
  • May coordinate with Environment, Safety, and Health staff for compliance with OSHA and ADA.
  • Coordinates space planning, supply needs, and other activities.
  • Performs handyman tasks and physical hands-on work including minor repairs, installations, hanging items, and moving furniture and equipment.
  • Manages the local access control system, controlling keycard access.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years of related experience required.
  • Ability to travel to i3 locations throughout the United States. 10% travel required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
