We are seeking a Procurement Professionalto provide support for our customer located in Washington D.C. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth process of the procurement life cycle at the Federal level.

JobSummary:

As a Procurement Professional., you will play a pivotal role in our federal contracting team. We are seeking an experienced professional with 6 to 9 years of federal government contracting experience and a bachelor's degree. In this role, you will assist in all aspects of procurement activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and best practices. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our government contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and manage procurement plans.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers.
  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of solicitations, requests for proposals (RFPs), and invitations for bids (IFBs).
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and bids, ensuring they meet federal regulations and contract requirements.
  • Federal research and development contracting and cost analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
  • Stay current with federal procurement regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must participate in a Federal background investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 6 to 9 years of federal government contracting experience.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
