Our client Company is committed to bringing every railroad, transit agency, and industrial rail facility the best software for compliance and terminal management. Its has been providing rail SaaS solutions since 2012.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a crucial role in driving new business and revenue growth. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for the sales team, while also closing smaller deals independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for and generate new leads through various channels, such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking events.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their needs and determining their suitability for our solutions.
  • Schedule appointments with qualified leads for our sales team, setting them up for success.
  • Independently close deals for projects under $10,000, showcasing your salesmanship and negotiation skills.
  • Maintain and update CRM data to ensure accurate recordkeeping and facilitate communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, building brand loyalty and fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in new business generation and appointment setting.
  • Experience in a BDR or similar sales role is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with a positive and proactive attitude
