Job Description
Business Analyst/Salesforce Administrator who will support and deliver sales strategies across our Salesforce platform. This individual will deliver product roadmaps, support strategic initiatives, check platform performance, and drive continuous improvement opportunities. Product team members must have a passion for placing customers first and solving tough problems. Team members manage partnering with key stakeholders across the company to drive alignment and execution in supporting the organization's growth and profitability goals. As a Business Analyst/Salesforce Administrator, you will use best practices to develop cross-platform requirements and execute configurations, while working with Salesforce Engineers and QA to deliver complex sales solutions. This individual will report to the Director of Software Development.
Job Responsibilities
• Serve as the business analyst for Salesforce CRM, Account Engagement, Territory Planning, and Reporting
• Serve as a contributing administrator for the Salesforce environment.
• Write documentation for the configurations, code to be written, and/or integrations.
• Build Salesforce reports based on requirements.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and resolution.
• Work with product manager and business stakeholders, to document User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Work with the product manager to build and keep the Salesforce roadmap.
• Work with product managers and UX designers to deliver the best and most customer-friendly implementation.
• Bring forward ideas to experiment and work in teams to transform ideas into reality.
• Prioritize stories with the product manager and technical program manager to lead the team to success.
• Aid in training inexperienced users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum five years of experience as a Business or Solution Analyst
• Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
• Understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to perform basic configurations.
• Ability to evaluate Salesforce features.
• Ability to write queries for data evaluation.
• Understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
• Proven ability to design and implement new processes and ease user adoption.
• Ability to write quality business and technical requirement documentation.
• Ability to translate requirements between business and engineering.
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
• Ability to aid in UAT planning and execution by easing between users and the engineering team.
• Ability to work with the training team to help them understand the product so they can create communication and training materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• History of developing products in an Agile development environment
• Salesforce experience in Sales Cloud, Case Management, Marketing Cloud/Account Engagement, Territory Planning, Tableau CRM preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce Administrator certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, triggers, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
• Understanding of Git and development activities such as merge, conflict resolution of code
• Understanding of API development, Data Migrations, and cloud services
