Description of the role:

The Front Desk Supervisor at Holiday Inn Express - Marina State Beach will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests. They will supervise and train front desk staff, handle guest inquiries and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train front desk staff
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out process
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or the PMS system
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer systems and hotel reservation software
  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts
