Role Description:

  • Working as a business partner to analyse cybersecurity risks, validate IT controls, and identify opportunities to reduce risks and improve the security program.
  • Working with in a smarter, data-driven way, to assist with risk assessments, audit procedures and strategic collaboration/partnerships with the business.
  • Developing under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Internal Audit and in a multicultural team, the business and technical acumen needed successful execution of the audit plan, meaningful experiences to learn and grow, and strategic exposure with management and heads of business units, including Corporate Finance, IT, Legal, and Supply Chain.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with audit projects, from planning, fieldwork, to the reporting phase activities, according to professional standards and the organization's audit methodology; predominantly cybersecurity/IT projects, but inclusive of operational, finance, and compliance audit project needs.
  • Synthesize and draw recommendations that add value to the entity, business unit or process under review.
  • Interact closely with guest auditor and co-source resources to understand our business, business risks, and controls to effectively execute audit activities.
  • Develop, build & implement practices and/or tools to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Pursue professional memberships, certifications, internal/external trainings, and/or expand professional network, for the betterment of the organization.
  • Demonstrate integrity, commitment to the company code of conduct, and promote a positive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications Sought:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, information systems, or computer science with a career interest in auditing.
  • You have experience in accounting or audit (IT or financial); experience in compliance, operations, sales, and/or supply chain, is a plus.
  • You have or are pursuing professional certifications, including but not limited to the CPA, CISA, and CIA.
  • You appreciate internal controls and the fundamentals of risk management, including knowledge base of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX) and internal control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, COSO); on the job training will be provided if no prior experience.
  • You have a process improvement mindset with a touch of professional scepticism; intellectually curious.
  • You build credibility on day one, intending to find the right answer, not just to be right.
  • You are apt in following-up for information, double-checking if received files are complete, and corroborating information; results focused and dynamic communicator.
  • You possess acuteness of skillset and tools of the trade, including XLOOKUP, data visualizations, information security, to project management principles.
  • You are in the comfort zone when structuring work plans and defining objectives, as well as embracing change; an open-mindedness.
  • You read, listen, and/or converse beyond English; Malay, Mandarin, Filipino, and/or Spanish is a plus.
  • You are a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
