The Accountant in this role will manage financial accounts, leveraging advanced skills in accounting software and Excel. They will contribute to strategic decision-making, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure compliance with regulations in support of accurate financial reporting.

Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile financial accounts, ensuring accuracy in recording and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Utilize accounting software and advanced Excel skills to support financial operations
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance requirements
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Accountant Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a preference for experience in the merchandising or retail industry
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
