Hypertec Direct is part of a privately held group of vertically integrated companies with over 240 employees, headquartered in Montreal with regional offices in Ottawa, Quebec City, Mississauga, Florida and Tempe, Arizona. We are a leading provider of technology solutions to corporations, educational institutions and government entities of all sizes. We offer design, development, and distribution of brand name computer and consumer electronics products, after-sales service, technical support, integration and the development of solutions.

We are presently looking for a qualified, experienced individual to join our sales force as a Sales Manager in our Tempe location.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to:**

* Mentoring, coaching and building a strong team of sales development professionals;

* Ensuring new business targets and growth goals are being met;

* Maintaining and growing a profitable P&L;

* Support Account Executives in cultivating their relationships with prospective clients;

* Lead, hire and train team to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly goals;

* Effectively communicate with team to help promote products, services & culture;

* Build internal relationships and communication processes with all areas of the organization in order to ensure a complete and comprehensive knowledge base as it relates to Hypertec's total offering;

* Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of leading industry trends;

* Prioritize, manage and lead special projects.

**Ideal Candidate:**

* Minimum of 5 years sales management experience in the IT market with a proven track record of success and a degree in sales or business;

* Working knowledge of computer networking, servers, storage & software;

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required (Spanish would be an asset but not mandatory);

* Ambitious, career oriented, energetic, self-motivated and results driven;

* Excellent presentation, negotiation and organizational skills;

* Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently;

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment;

* Proficiency in using computers and are comfortable with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and utilizing the internet.
