Position: Procurement Support Associate Exempt Status: Hourly Primary Objective: The Procurement Support Associate will work directly with vendors, category managers, operations, accounts payable, and field sales consultants to assist and support in all aspects of the procurement process. Responsibilities: Assist in the management of all databases related to vendors and items for the category manager(s) as assigned. Ensure that all data is current and accurate. Accurate and timely processing of purchase order confirmations for the category manager(s) as assigned. Accurate and timely processing of purchase order invoices for the category manager(s) as assigned. Assist category manager(s) in the monitoring and management of the sales of new items to ensure company's movement goals are met and enforcement of the vendor "new item" guarantee policy. Work with operations and accounts payable for the processing of over, short, and damaged purchase order receipts through communication with vendors and proper billing follow up. Special order processing, tracking and management of returned special orders for assigned category manager(s). Provide timely communication to sales for special order cuts. Field sales consultant requests for credit on items with manufacturer defects/concerns. Request vendor credit and process vendor billing for all credit approvals. Be an outstanding ambassador for the company's values. Perform all other duties and special tasks as assigned. Requirements: Proven ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency while providing excellent customer service and customer experience. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, current and future third-party ERP software. Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
