Procurement Operations Coordinator

Primary Objective:
The Procurement Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with suppliers, category managers, operational teams, accounts payable, and field sales representatives to assist and facilitate all facets of the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain all databases associated with suppliers and products for the assigned category managers, ensuring data accuracy and currency.
2. Process purchase order confirmations accurately and promptly for the designated category managers.
3. Handle purchase order invoices efficiently and in a timely manner for the assigned category managers.
4. Support category managers in tracking and managing the sales of new products to ensure alignment with the company's movement objectives and adherence to vendor policies regarding new items.
5. Collaborate with operational teams and accounts payable to address issues related to overages, shortages, and damaged goods, ensuring effective communication with suppliers and appropriate billing follow-up.
6. Oversee special order processing, tracking, and management of returned special orders for the assigned category managers, providing timely updates to sales teams.
7. Address requests from field sales representatives for credits on items with manufacturer defects or concerns, coordinating vendor credits and processing billing for approved credits.
8. Act as a representative of the company's core values.
9. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and current and future third-party ERP systems.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset aimed at achieving collective objectives.
