A sports equipment client at Insight Global is seeking a qualified sales development representative to prospect and find potential customers and wholesalers. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process, & a strong understanding of the exercise and fitness industry. This person should excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and creating a solid pipeline of new business customers, gym owners, university athletic directors, first responders, and commercial real estate partnerships that require new gym & fitness equipment. Utilize Hubspot, LinkedIn, AI Lead Gen, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities. Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services. Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities. In-depth understanding of social media channels and how to leverage them for creating new sales leads. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market. Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales team. Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results. 2+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets. Strong communication skills via phone, email, and social media channels. Background or experience within the fitness industry/ health wellness industry
