Responsibilities The following are among the projections analyst's wide-ranging responsibilities: -Assist in the preparation and use of budget databases; -Prepare and review material for CBO's major recurring reports on the budget, the President's annual budget request, and other topics; and -Respond to inquiries from the Congress and the public. Requirements Conditions of Employment US citizenship or current permanent residents seeking citizenship SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Tier One Background Investigation Qualifications -Solid quantitative orientation, including expertise with Excel; -Superior communication skills, especially the ability to write about and explain complex material clearly and concisely; -Facility with handling multiple tasks simultaneously; and -The ability to complete projects independently and under tight deadlines. -Experience with the federal budget process is desirable.
