Risk and Compliance - Risk & Compliance Analyst Wednesday, August 14, 2024 Position Summary : Completes and documents risk management functions of the Credit Union. Leverages several tools to ensure compliance with internal processes and best practices and manages swift remediation of self-identified control deficiencies. Core Responsibilities: Completes various enterprise risk monitoring activities including risk assessments for all business units of the credit union. Conducts internal and external audits and provides audit related support including audit remediation. Collaborates with key departments to communicate deficiencies identified. Creates and updates Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”) to align with practices. Samples accounts and files, tracks results, and prepares reporting of information obtained from business units in relation to regulatory compliance self-monitoring for their respective areas. Provides process improvement feedback to management regarding risk management and compliance management functions. Requirements: Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of related experience strongly preferred. Skills/Knowledge/Certifications Strong knowledge in office software applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and other web-based applications. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Metro’s Hybrid Work Policy requires three in-person days for all employees whose primary office location is 200 Revere Beach Parkway. All employees will be required to report to work at 200 RBP every Tuesday and Wednesday. With approval from their manager, employees may choose the third day that works best for their own individual needs and schedules.
