As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing safety initiatives, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with EU legal safety requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Provide safety training and guidance to local trainers and Peikko personnel
  • Investigate and report on safety incidents and accidents
  • Collaborate with local safety experts to develop and implement safety procedures
  • Lead monthly safety meetings and conduct internal audits

Requirements

  • Knowledge of EU legal safety requirements and industry standards, such as ISO 45001:2018
  • Understanding of operational and safety processes
  • Experience in legal requirements in the building industry
  • Good English skills and ability to travel
  • Excellent training and team working skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards safety topics and courage to address safety concerns
