POSITION TITLE: Broadband Operations Administrator DEPARTMENT: Broadband REPORTS TO: Director of Broadband Operations DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None FLSA CLASS: Exempt Position Summary The Broadband Operations Administrator supports the Director of Broadband Operations in coordinating departmental functions and projects, overseeing administrative tasks, managing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include project management, procurement oversight, permit administration, and facilitating operational improvements. The role involves collaborating with staff, conducting analyses, managing records, preparing reports, and effectively overseeing project resources. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Coordinate departmental operations, strategic planning, and workflow Liaise with departments, agencies, and the Director Manage procurement, contracts, and environmental permits Conduct ad hoc reviews and operational analyses Streamline work processes and implement efficiency solutions Facilitate communication and disseminate information Oversee records management and regulatory compliance Prepare statistical reports and financial audits Manage project resources, budgets, and forecasts Performs other duties as assigned and qualified. Accountabilities Data accuracy is measured by the output. Timeliness, as measured by scheduled task deadlines and requirements. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Team facilitation, as measured by behavioral characteristics, internal collaborative efforts and internal process enhancements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. 2 to 3 years related project management experience, preferably with a utility, OR any equivalent combination of education and experience from which the necessary qualifications can be ascertained. Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to concentrate, and skilled in communicating with others. Must be able to express oneself well orally and in writing. Ability to multitask and manage time. Must have sufficient physical health to perform the job's essential functions, duties, and responsibilities. Must be proficient in record keeping, statistical analysis, and reporting. Skills in developing plans, procedures, and goals are required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Working Conditions Generally accepted office working conditions. Occasional work outside normal working hours may be required. Occasional day and overnight travel may be required. Medium work requires occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and up to 10 pounds more frequently. Lifting and carrying 10 to 50 pounds occasionally. Job requires standing, climbing, bending, pulling, crawling and reaching. Requires analyzing data and reports, conducting research and coordinating people and resources. Job requires sitting most of the time using a computer. Requires repetitive motions with hands and fingers such as dialing and keyboarding. #J-18808-Ljbffr
