Your Role

As Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Youll process and generate invoices and reconcile accounts. Fortunately, youve got a business degree, or youve got 2+ years of experience in AR
  • Youll respond to questions and make calls about invoicing issues. This means youre a liaison between departments and customers.
  • Youll communicate with team members and other departments. Youre not the kind of person who is overly direct, but youre good at getting clarification from people when you need more information about an order.
  • Youll verify the validity of account discrepancies. This means youll seek out answers and investigate information from sales and customer service departments, as well as customers to get to the bottom of things.
  • Youll resolve collections by examining customer payment plans and payment history. Someone with your eye for detail is perfect for this

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for an Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or 2+ years experience in AR or similar role
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficient in math and strong keyboard skills along with written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and detail oriented
  • Positive attitude while maintaining consistent, timely, and accurate processes
  • Great time management skills and the ability to organize and multi-task
  • Possess the ability to successfully work independently and accurately with limited supervision
  • Read, write, and speak fluently in the English language
