Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in South Charlotte to fill the role of a Billing Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity that offers the flexibility of remote work for two days each week. The successful candidate will lead a team and must possess prior experience in managing billing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 4-6 billing specialists
  • Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable aging
  • Develop and implement process improvements within the accounts receivable department
  • Collaborate closely with the collections team to enhance receivables management
  • Address discrepancies and manage escalated billing issues
  • Ensure adherence to strict deadlines
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in billing
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within billing
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred
  • Proficient in technology, with strong MS Excel skills and experience in automated systems
  • Experience with portal billing is essential
Compensation: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually
