Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.Assumes the responsibility of organizing and coordinating the workflow and resources, meeting department and hospital goals, expectations, and quality indicators.Oversees the technical and regulatory activities of Point of Care Testing (POCT), both waived and Non-waived testing systems, including specimen preparation, testing, reporting, training, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Reports to the Administrative Laboratory Director or designee.Meets NYS state regulations for a supervisor, with good organizational and communication skills. Adequate clinical laboratory experience to qualify as a NYS CLEP Technical Supervisor, at least four (4) years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience after qualification as a Clinical Laboratory.
