Pediatric Home Care Nurse Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Pediatric Home Care Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care in accordance with the developed care plan and physician orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Develop, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
