**THE POSITION**:

We are a long-term care facility located in Spring City that provides veterans and their spouses quality service. This position supervises timekeepers and assists with a variety of human resource functions at the veterans' center. **DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
In this position, your duties include supervising a small staff engaged in timekeeping activities for the center. You function as the time advisor for the facility by reviewing timekeeping procedures with payroll staff, working with staff to resolve issues brought forward as payroll errors, providing training to supervisory staff for leave program recommendations, and discussing leave usage with employees if a negative balance appears.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of experience as a Human Resource Assistant 1;_ _**or**:

- Two years of clerical or other comparable experience, one year of which involved performance of limited technical duties in the field of human resource work;_ _**or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

**Legal Requirements**:

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
