**Duties**:

- Assists with a variety of management initiatives, such as, but not limited to the review and edit of documents, reports, workload analysis, budget data, statements of work, corrective actions, and programs requirements.
- Assists in the preparation of high level and/or confidential management services, including personnel, functions, and budget reports.
- Serves as customer service ambassador to the public and internal customers; represents the division with responsive customer-centric service. Communicates services with significant interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy.
- Manages administrative operations and meetings and transcribes proceedings.
- Performs administrative duties as required to ensure the office is functioning effectively and efficiently.
- Manages office files, communications, travel, and training.
- Provides expert administrative oversight, review, and editing of all written publications and other documents.

- To qualify, at the GS-07, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6. Examples of specialized experience may include: Independently performed a wide variety of administrative support functions; assisted with office budget; served as clerical point of contact on human resources matters and specific resource programs; prepared reports, charts, graphs, and other documents; tracked and inventoried locally managed property; purchase supplies and equipment utilizing an integrated charge card program; enter/validate time and attendance; prepare, edit, and finalize correspondence.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
- You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
