ReadyWork is looking to fill a Human Resources Assistant role in Santa Maria, CA. This position is a first shift temp to hire opportunity The Human Resource Assistant will oversee all aspects of human resources, ensuring that the workforce is motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company mission.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations.
- Handle data entry tasks related to employee information and benefits.
- Support HR sourcing activities and assist in the recruitment process.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
- Explaining checks to employees, printing pay stub reports for employees
- Conduct data collection and analysis for HR reports.
- Assist in Workers' Compensation procedures and documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of Employment Labor Laws and ensure compliance.
- Assist with employee basic questions about payroll
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects.
- Entering all sick time/vacation for different districts

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proficient in administrative tasks within an HR setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
- Knowledge of Employment Labor Laws and Workers' Compensation procedures.
- Strong attention to detail for data collection and analysis tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
