Reporting to the CEO, the Florida Market President will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of Norsan Media-Florida sales and operational activities.

**The primary function of the role is to execute Norsan Media’s strategy in the local Florida current and future markets: Jacksonville and Orlando (as of June 2024). This role is an in-person position that requires proximity to our local offices.**

In this position, you will be responsible for helping the team meet annual sales targets within their assigned regions. A sense of urgency is an essential part of this role.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, you will also be expected to demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.

The Market President will oversee operational activities and personnel, including promotions teams, talent, and administrative staff. There will be a collaboration with the Executive Team to handle these matters and ensure company alignment.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- On a day-to-day basis, manage staff, work schedules and delegate tasks
- Report activities, projects, and status of strategic goals to CEO on a weekly basis
- Collaborate with Program Director in managing staff and departmental activities
- Review team performance data regularly
- Manage, communicate with, and maintain relationship with Norsan Media Florida office management
- Cultivates relationships with non-traditional sponsors and businesses in the community that will lead to underwriting and sponsorship opportunities
- Ensure employees work and sell with integrity and uphold Norsan Media’s sales standards and process
- Clearly communicate expectations of performance and establish and maintain a professional and motivated staff through Company’s performance management process
- Work cooperatively and in partnership with other departments
- Oversees the planning and execution of sales meetings, community events and station representation at trade association meetings
- Works along VP Of Sales on monthly and annual sales objectives for their sales personnel
- Spend a significant portion of time in the field with individual accounts and traveling with sales personnel
- Recruit, hire, and retain sales talent to build future pipeline
- Coach and mentor Solution Consultants in the field; identify areas of strength and needed improvements
- Holds regular sales and marketing meetings to train and evaluate progress
- Actively participate in business & community associations with the intention of developing extensive relationships with local influencers and decision makers
- Maintain the overall revenue growth plan for the market and requisite reporting
- Drive results through sales team and hold them accountable to expectations
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM system
- Demonstrate leadership skills, particularly abilities to develop strategy and policy and lead efforts to execute and implement; outstanding ability to work along internal company teams
- Significant knowledge of digital media technologies and experience in a broadcasting and/or media environment and an understanding of content products, services, systems, particularly relative to online, mobile, audio, video and/or digital media in addition to traditional media
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, and, in particular, the ability to communicate effectively before large groups in a public setting
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others
- Ability to travel and has own car
- Any other assigned duties as needed and as the role and markets evolve
