Overview
AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic and team-oriented fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join AdventHealth Medical Group at our AdventHealth Winter Garden location, not far from Downtown Orlando.
- This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services to that community seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients.
- The practice would also align with AdventHealth Apopka collaborating with two physicians and two APPs. Infusion services also available at Apopka just down the road
- Radiation and Surgical Support will be available throughout our system
- Access to research, clinical trials, Phase 1 and tumor boards (daily)
- The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients.
- Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends
- Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc..
- Extended network of 6 other medical oncology sites surrounding Orlando

Requirements of the position include:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred

Practice DescriptionThis is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Hospital DescriptionAdventHealth Winter Garden, a part of AdventHealth Orlando, formerly known as Florida Hospital Winter Garden opened in 2016 as a state-of-the-art emergency facility featuring board-certified physicians trained in the care of both adults and children. AdventHealth Winter Garden opened its new inpatient tower in May 2022, a $229.5 million expansion which brings critical services to the fast-growing West Orange community. The new tower provides 80 private rooms and space for new services, including orthopedics, advanced gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general and robotic surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal and urology.
