**Responsibilities**
- Lead the structural engineering department in the Orlando area, overseeing all aspects of project development from conception through completion.
- Design and analyze structures to ensure they are efficient and stable under load conditions while adhering to project specifications, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide expertise in the use of a variety of construction materials, including but not limited to post tension, masonry, wood, and other relevant material types.
- Utilize Revit and other advanced engineering software for modeling, analysis, and documentation of projects.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to maintain competitiveness and compliance.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a significant focus on commercial projects, including highrises and midrises.
- Proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of BIM methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of construction materials, including post tension, masonry, wood, etc.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required. SE License preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
