About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of various structures and facilities for government, commercial, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Select building gravity and lateral systems
  • Design facility layouts, working closely with other disciplines, or standalone structural projects such as retaining walls
  • Manage junior staff, including engineers and drafters
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance
  • Conduct structural calculations for building and retaining wall design
  • Prepare plans, reports, and specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or similar from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Licensed Professional Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer in Florida, with ability to become licensed PE in other states within 6 months of hire
  • 10+ years of design experience in state, local, or Federal government markets
  • Previous military experience preferred
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience desirable
