**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing and organizing tax documents for individuals and businesses
- Track status of returns, update in tax software and on control sheets
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
- Support Tax Preparers in gathering and organizing returns accurately and efficiently
- Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a clerical role for CPA office or similar position preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with tax preparation software is a plus
- QuickBooks experience required

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
