**Job Title**: CNC Machine Setup person

**Primary Objectives**: The CNC Machine Setup person sets up CNC machines (lathes) by performing the following duties.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Understand blueprints, job plans and operation instructions to assure parts are manufactured to specs.
- Proficient in understanding G-Code
- Able to inspect a workpiece using micrometer, calipers, height gauge, optical comparator and gauges.
- Set up machines using verbal/written instructions provided by programmer/engineer to produce a part for First Article Inspection. When part passes FAI you will turn the production over to an operator after instructing them on the production of the part..
- Troubleshoot problems during the standard production machining process
- Train machine operators to run production jobs after part passes FAI.
- Know how to operate Haas Milling Centers and or Lathes is a plus.
- Experience using CNC probing systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of 5 Axis CNC machines is a plus.
- Able to perform all types of deburring as needed

**Education and/or Experience**: Technical school; or six years similar experience and/or training.

**Basic Requirements**: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
