Innova Solutions is seeking a CNC Programmer - Engineering Support for a full-time contract position.

Role Overview:

  • The selected candidate will deliver various engineering assistance within a machining environment.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Developing and adjusting CNC programs for different production machinery.
  • Executing setups and validating programs on multiple CNC Mills, Wire EDM Machines, and lathes.
  • Interpreting GD&T and analyzing engineering schematics, CAD files, production planning documents, and technical manuals.
  • Creating or reviewing machining process plans to outline necessary steps and labor hour estimates. Implementing controlled modifications to work plans and methods as needed.
  • Examining documents, drawings, preliminary layouts, and notes to establish processes for fabricating prototype and production assemblies.
  • Providing support on the manufacturing floor to ensure prompt resolution of technical challenges.
  • Estimating labor for machining and sheet metal fabrication tasks.
  • Maintaining and updating existing statistical process controls while introducing new ones.
  • Training or assisting Machine Shop personnel with the setup and operation of multi-axis CNC equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 6 years of experience or a combination of training and experience in programming, setup, operation of CNC equipment, and troubleshooting complex multi-axis fabrication projects.
  • Experience in generating CNC programs using MasterCam and Pro-E (Creo) or similar CAD/CAM software.
  • Two years of experience working with quality systems and processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials, as well as plastics, fiber, and rubber materials.
  • Strong understanding of various cutting tools and the ability to determine and calculate appropriate speeds and feed rates.

Compensation and Benefits:

Innova Solutions offers a competitive pay range of $35 to $40 per hour, based on factors such as education, experience, job location, and specific duties.
