**Job Summary**:
Student Services Specialist position perform enrollment services functions providing student support services for the college in the areas of admissions, records and registration, call center, and Coyote Welcome Desk. Working in a fast-paced, high-energy One Stop Enrollment Center, this position provides comprehensive admissions, records, registration, and payment-related services to new and continuing students with a high level of accuracy and exceptional customer service. Utilizes strong problem-solving and communication skills to assist students with a wide range of enrollment services questions. Embraces a service-first, solutions-focused, teamwork environment, working with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff to help students achieve their academic goals. The person hired for this role will serve a diverse population of students, staff, faculty and community members in all areas of enrollment services.

**Essential Functions**:

- 40% - Supports the Office of Admissions, Records and Registration with the day-to-day functions related but not limited to; general admissions, registration, transcript evaluation, data entry (transcripts, processing/retention), graduation, front-line or multi-phone service, and international student admission. Student, faculty, and staff support; enrollment verifications and other student related documents.- 30% - Performs general office functions such as; answering phones, faxing, preparing correspondence, and other duties as assigned commensurate to grade level of position.- 10% - Assists with Special Admissions population including high school partners.- 10% - Assists with coordination of projects for special enrollment populations.- 10% - Provides administrative support which may impact service to other areas of Student Affairs.**Minimum Qualifications**:
Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and one (1) year full-time equivalent of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development
