The Automotive Service Specialist is tasked with performing non-technical automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, as well as transporting customers, picking up parts, and ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop as required.
COMPENSATION:
$14-$20/Hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation.
- Conduct oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
While performing basic services, assess the general condition of vehicles and report any apparent repairs or safety issues to the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
Maintain the cleanliness of the workshop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Collect parts, supplies, tires, etc., from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
Operate the company vehicle safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic regulations.
Follow all safety protocols and report any concerns to the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
The Automotive Service Specialist is also expected to comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- General understanding of mechanical systems and components
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The Automotive Service Specialist will encounter moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous substances.
The temperature in the work environment may vary and could include extreme heat and/or cold depending on outside conditions.
The Automotive Service Specialist must be able to meet the following physical requirements:- Stand for up to eight hours per day in the workshop and walk to access various areas of the facility.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle, or manipulate objects frequently.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly.
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus.
