Moving & Storage Operations Support - Bilingual

We are a provider of moving and storage solutions, dedicated to exceptional service and customer satisfaction. We are needing a dependable, honest, and versatile individual that can thrive in a small warehouse/office environment to support our dispatch/operations/customer service and operations. Must have excellent communication and time management skills. Previous moving and storage, dispatching, logistics, driving 24 ft box truck, forklift experience. **Bilingual, fluent in both English/Spanish preferred. **Full background check required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with operations manger with scheduling, dispatching, and new hire activities.
- Daily inventory checks, truck checks, and documentation of all operations activities.
- Occasionally pick up/deliver materials and assist moving crews on jobs if needed.
- Monitor GPS, ongoing move status, address any issues that arise.
- Complete customer with job confirmations, updates, and scheduling details.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer client inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with office teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure items are stored securely and efficiently in warehouse.
- Ensure office/warehouse/yard areas are kept clean and organized.
- Assist visitors with any inquiries in front office as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Moving industry, dispatching, logistics, or scheduling experience required.
- Box truck, forklift, vaulting, inventorying, household goods storage, warehousing experience.
- Must be in great physical shape to lift/move heavy, climb in/out trucks to complete inventory checks daily.
- Ability to drive 26 ft box truck, deliver/pick up/drop off/move around moving trucks.
- Ability to work inside/outside comfortably in all Texas weather conditions.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
- Proficiency with computer systems, Microsoft office, can quickly learn software CRM.
- Full background check required.

**Additional Information**:

- $17 - $18 per hour. Independent contractor status (1099 position).
- Expected to commit to full-time hours (minimum 40 hours per week).
- Requires working flexible hours, including early/late hours, and weekends as customer needs arise.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute daily to work. We're located in Houston, TX 77045.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- This job requires excellent communication skills to speak to customers, moving crews, and office staff, speaking with difficult customers, making tough phone calls, and diffusing tense situations over the phone? How many years’ experience do you have in this area?
- This job is a 1099 position, pays $17-$18 per hour. The position requires the ability to work flexible hours and Saturdays half day; requires commuting daily to SW Houston, 77045 (check your location). Can you comfortably meet each requirement?
