Now hiring an experienced and motivated salesperson with strong telephone closing sales to join our moving and storage company  We a re a locally owned and operated small business and committed to providing top notch customer service, moving, and storage services throughout Texas. As a vital member of our sales team, you will be calling warm leads, sell and differentiate our moving and storage services, and bring in new and repeat business. The salesperson must quickly build up their sales pipeline to be successful in this role. The position requires the ability to work some late evenings and alternating Saturdays half day. We are located in SW Houston 77045.

The ideal candidate is Bilingual English/Spanish, self-motivated and goal-oriented; has strong communication, customer service and negotiation skills with a commission sales driven mindset; can quickly apply learned methods and swiftly build up a sales pipeline. We're a small business so must be comfortable working in a small office workspace and can come in and hit the ground running

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Convert warm leads into sales via phone calls, referrals, and networking
  • Differentiate our service and product offerings to customers
  • Educate and assist customers on their specific moving and storage needs
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients
  • Follow up with leads and inquiries to convert them into sales
  • Collaborate with operations ensuring smooth transition from sales to service delivery
  • Meet and exceed weekly/monthly sales targets and KPIs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Min 1 years proven experience inside telephone sales in moving and storage or similar industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and can quickly learn CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative office team.
  • Ability to work some late evenings and alternating Saturdays.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to work daily, full background check required.

Compensation:

  • Independent contractor status (1099 position). Expected to commit to full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week). 
  • Commission driven position. First month base $500.00 weekly; starting second month, base $350.00 weekly.
  • Compensation includes 5% commission on all booked jobs.
  • Earning potential is based on each individual's experience in selling.
  • You control your paycheck Uncapped commission structure = unlimited earning potential
  • Note: This position does not include traditional employee benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, or retirement plans.
