As an Accounting Analyst within the Management Information Systems group, you will play a critical role in a strong, growing company. This position will report directly to the MIS Manager and will support the users of our business system. You will provide system support, reports, and general assistance to those users. Additionally, you will complete monthly Accounting responsibilities.

MH Equipment is an authorized Hyster and Yale lift truck and forklift dealer that provides top quality material handling equipment to meet our customers' needs. **Responsibilities**:

- Thoroughly learn all aspects of the business system
- Support business system and business system users company-wide
- On a daily basis, assist business system users with questions/problems they may have
- Work closely with parts managers to resolve parts variances and inventory issues
- Complete monthly journal entries related to variances and inventory activity
- Reconcile inventory accounts
- Prepare monthly reports for distribution
- Provide backup support to MIS personnel and the MIS Manager
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Associate’s level degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 or more years of practical accounting experience
- Must have strong computer skills
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Core value of integrity and a high energy level with a passion for the job
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft-based programs with emphasis on Excel and Power BI
- Experience with data mining software such as Crystal, Power BI, Access, and SQL experience are a definite plus
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize successfully and work independently
- Ability to multi-task and remain flexible
- Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation

**Working Conditions**:Employee is expected to work a basic 40-hour week Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. plus whatever time is required to accomplish goals for the position. This is a salaried position and is exempt from paid overtime.
