Soluna Wellness is in search of an Assistant Administrator for its Mental Health Adult Day Program in Hillcrest, San Diego, California. As an Assistant Administrator, you'll be coordinating all operations and activities of the primarily the Administrator and secondly the facility, including staff supervision, acting as agency/community liaison, and directing client programming and family support.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Client Support**
- Act as liaison, advocate, and coordinator for client involvement in self-advocacy, transportation services, integrated community activities, recreation, and learning independent living skills.
- Foster open and supportive communication with clients, families, and community programs.
- Provide and ensure communication of medical and health issues to the Administrator, Medeical Director, Clinical Director, Case Manager, and other pertinent staff.
- Implement and follow up on all support services recommendations.

**Supervision/Training**
- Present and implement all facility policies and procedures, as related to duties.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring new staff.
- Inform Administrator about pertinent issues.
- Audit facility logs i.e. task analysis, fire drill, behavioral datasheet
- Audit client folder i.e. client notes. Ensure proper filing of pertinent medical notes.
- Perform facility oversight to ensure compliance with CCL/HRC/OSHA regulations.
- Oversee maintenance of the physical plant and vehicles to include cleanliness, decor, safety issues, and emergency situations; practice preventative maintenance; ensure compliance with CCL/HRC/OSHA standards.
- Ensure the facility has adequate supplies to operate efficiently.
- Be available while on duty to cover an open group if necessary. Attend monthly meetings with the Administrator.
- Complete a monthly Self-Assessment checklist and submit it to the Administrator.
- Perform available duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by the Administrator

**OTHER**
- Support and participates in common teamwork.
- Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plans and completes job duties with mínimal direction from the Administrator, including appropriate judgment.
- Uses tactful, appropriate communication in sensitive and emotional situations.
- Investigate all complaints and report to the Administrator. Follows up with co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.
- Promotes positive public relations with clients, families, CCL, HRC, and other community agencies.

**Qualifications**
- 18 years of age or older
- High school degree/GED
- Pass criminal background clearance (FBI/DOJ)
- Interested in and passionate about mental health
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods
