Position Responsibilities
- Ability to follow instructions
- Desire to learn about the industry
- Ability to pass FBI background check and be fingerprinted
- Prepare client paperwork accurately and in a timely manner with mínimal supervision
- Maintain client files and update client information as instructed
- Assist in scheduling appointments, virtual meetings, and overall office organization
- Assure secure practices are adhered to regarding all personal and proprietary client account information
- Answer phones and communicate clearly and respectfully with all clients and vendors
- Complete office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies
- Follow up with insurance and investment company representatives
- Generate reports, document office processes, create marketing pieces, and conduct research
- Greet and assist office visitors
- Anticipate office needs to ensure office is running smoothly

Skills and Experience Required
- Ability to communicate basic business terms and concepts
- Strong understanding of Social Media usage
- Strong understanding of basic financial vocabulary and jargon
- Meticulous and demonstrated organizational skills
- Strong internet and financial research skills
- Strong advocate of customer service principles and practices
- Strong computer skills, in particular Excel, Word, and PDF creation
- Experience working with phones and proper phone etiquette
- Experience in a financial office or administrative setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Ability to work with mínimal instruction and an overall sense of awareness
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Demonstrated initiative-taking ability
- High School Diploma
- Some college required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.46 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week
