**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answering phones, taking messages, and directing patients to the appropriate person
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintaining and filling up the schedule as needed
- Scheduling appointments
- Entering and updating patient records and appointment information
- Providing outstanding customer service to patients and their families
- Verifying Insurance from time to time on Medicaid, CHIP & PPO insurances
- Presenting, explaining procedures and getting consents signed
- Educate and explain treatment to patient/parent/guardian
- Call broken appointments
- Collect and post payments from patients under the correct provider
- Ability to create payment plans and relate treatment necessity to patients
- Submit pre-auths for Medicaid
- 2-3+ Years in Dental Front Office
- Proven work experience as a Front Desk Associate, Front Office Representative or similar role in a Dental Office
- Insurance Verification proficiency in Medicaid, Chip & PPO (required)
- Treatment Coordination experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Ability to handle high volume patient flow
- Proficiency in Dentrix (required)
- Excellent verbal and inter personal communication skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
